Calling all Ducks! We are holding a largesse drive for our Baronesses Hugoline and Fiona to present to their Majesties at Spring Coronation on April 5th, 2025. This is a great opportunity to show off the wide variety of skills that our barony possesses!
Largesse is the term used in the SCA for small items or tokens that are given as gifts. Some examples of things that would be great for largesse are accessories, like simple jewelry or coifs, useful items, like small tools such as lucets, and other useful bits like handmade cord or trim. Award medallions are always in demand as well. Things for the toybox are also good. Cups for the royals to hand out to newcomers are also always in high demand. We will not be accepting food items at this time. Any items like soap or candles need to be UNSCENTED, and require a clear ingredients list.
For all items, include your name, how to contact you, and a little detail about what you have donated.
We will also have an A&S night in March on the 27th, at the South Country Library from 6pm-8:30pm dedicated to making and collecting largesse. See the A&S night information announcements for more detail. You do not need to come to the A&S night to contribute! Contact Lady Rosalie Jane Blackmoore at the email below to arrange a hand off of contributions. Please have all contributions in by April 1st, 2025.
